🔥 Yasna 34 - Devotion and Desire for Righteousness

The deed which Thou, O Mazda, dost approve as best for these two worlds, that deed shall we do with Good Thought and with Truth, with the Power of the Kingdom, through Devotion fulfilling all that Thou hast decreed.

The faithful pledge to perform deeds approved by God through Good Thought and Truth.

All that which is most good shalt Thou give through Thy fire, O Ahura, unto the man of Right, and through Devotion with Good Mind, the blessings of the soul in the completeness of Thy sovereignty.

God gives what is best through sacred fire to those who follow Asha.

To Thee and to the Right we will offer the sacrifice of devotion with its homage, that in Thy established Kingdom, O Mazda Ahura, ye may bring all creatures to perfection through the Good Mind.

Sacrifice of devotion is offered to Ahura Mazda to bring all creation to perfection.

Grant us the Good Mind, O Ahura! We approach Thee with worship and desire for Thy truth. Make known to us the paths of righteousness, those most profitable paths of life through Asha.

Prayer to be shown the paths of righteousness through divine Truth.
