⛩️ Section XI - Amaterasu and Susanoo

When Susanoo ascended to Heaven, all the mountains and rivers shook, and every land and country quaked. Amaterasu was alarmed: My brother comes with no good intent. He wishes to seize my land.

Susanoo ascent to heaven causes cosmic upheaval; Amaterasu suspects treachery.

She bound up her hair in august knots, tied her skirt into the form of trousers, and slung her quiver upon her back. She shook her bow till the top shook, and stamped her feet into the hard earth.

Amaterasu arms herself for battle, transforming her garments into warrior attire.

Susanoo said: I have no evil intent. I only wish to say farewell. Let us swear oaths and produce children. If my intentions are pure, the children born shall be female. And from the mist of their oaths, three noble goddesses were born.

Susanoo proves his sincerity through a divine oath ceremony producing goddesses.
