chū jiǔ: zhèn lái xì xì, hòu xiào yán yǎ yǎ, jí
Nine at the beginning: Shock comes — Loss! Loss! Then follow laughing words — Loss! Loss! Good fortune.
Verse 3
六二：震來厲，億喪貝
liù èr: zhèn lái lì, yì sàng bèi
Six in the second place: Shock comes bringing danger. A hundred thousand times you lose your treasures and must climb the nine hills.
Verse 4
六三：震蘇蘇，震行無眚
liù sān: zhèn sū sū, zhèn xíng wú shěng
Six in the third place: Shock comes and makes one distraught. If shock spurs to action, one remains free of misfortune.

九四：震遂泥
jiǔ sì: zhèn suì ní
Nine in the fourth place: Shock is mired.

六五：震往來厲，億無喪有事
liù wǔ: zhèn wǎng lái lì, yì wú sàng yǒu shì
Six in the fifth place: Shock goes hither and thither. Danger. However, nothing at all is lost. Yet there are things to be done.
Verse 7
上六：震索索，視矍矍，征凶
shàng liù: zhèn suǒ suǒ, shì jué jué, zhēng xiōng
Six at the top: Shock brings ruin and terrified gazing around. Going ahead brings misfortune.
