☯️ 解 (Xiè) - Deliverance
Deliverance. The southwest furthers. If there is no longer anything where one has to go, return brings good fortune. If there is still something where one has to go, hastening brings good fortune. - Thunder and rain set in: the image of Deliverance. Thus the superior man pardons mistakes and forgives misdeeds.

Verse 1
解，利西南，無所往
xiè, lì xī nán, wú suǒ wǎng
Deliverance. The southwest furthers. If there is no longer anything where one has to go, return brings good fortune.
Verse 2
初六：無咎
chū liù: wú jiù
Six at the beginning: Without blame.
Verse 3
九二：田獲三狐，得黃矢，貞吉
jiǔ èr: tián huò sān hú, dé huáng shǐ, zhēn jí
Nine in the second place: One kills three foxes in the field and receives a yellow arrow. Perseverance brings good fortune.
Verse 4
六三：負且乘，致寇至
liù sān: fù qiě chéng, zhì kòu zhì
Six in the third place: If a man carries a burden on his back and nonetheless rides in a carriage, he thereby encourages robbers to draw near.
Verse 5
九四：解而拇，朋至斯孚
jiǔ sì: xiè ér mǔ, péng zhì sī fú
Nine in the fourth place: Deliver yourself from your great toe. Then the companion comes, and him you can trust.
Verse 6
六五：君子維有解，吉
liù wǔ: jūn zǐ wéi yǒu xiè, jí
Six in the fifth place: If only the superior man can deliver himself, it brings good fortune. Thus he proves to inferior men that he is in earnest.
Verse 7
上六：公用射隼于高墉之上
shàng liù: gōng yòng shè sǔn yú gāo yōng zhī shàng
Six at the top: The prince shoots at a hawk on a high wall. He kills it. Everything serves to further.
