☯️ 復 (Fù) - Return
Return. Success. Going out and coming in without error. Friends come without blame. The way is to and fro. On the seventh day comes return. It furthers one to have somewhere to go. - Thunder within the earth: the image of the Turning Point. Thus the kings of antiquity closed the passes at the time of solstice.

Verse 1
復,亨。出入無疾,朋來無咎
fù, hēng. chū rù wú jí, péng lái wú jiù
Return. Success. Going out and coming in without error. Friends come without blame.
Verse 2
初九:不遠復,無祇悔,元吉
chū jiǔ: bù yuǎn fù, wú qí huǐ, yuán jí
Nine at the beginning: Return from a short distance. No need for remorse. Great good fortune.
Verse 3
六二:休復,吉
liù èr: xiū fù, jí
Six in the second place: Quiet return. Good fortune.
Verse 4
六三:頻復,厲無咎
liù sān: pín fù, lì wú jiù
Six in the third place: Repeated return. Danger. No blame.
Verse 5
六四:中行獨復
liù sì: zhōng xíng dú fù
Six in the fourth place: Walking in the midst of others, one returns alone.
Verse 6
六五:敦復,無悔
liù wǔ: dūn fù, wú huǐ
Six in the fifth place: Noble-hearted return. No remorse.
Verse 7
上六:迷復,凶
shàng liù: mí fù, xiōng
Six at the top: Missing the return. Misfortune. If armies are set marching in this way, one will in the end suffer a great defeat.
