☯️ 巽 (Xùn) - The Gentle
The Gentle. Success through what is small. It furthers one to have somewhere to go. It furthers one to see the great man. - Winds following one upon the other: the image of the Gently Penetrating. Thus the superior man spreads his commands abroad and carries out his undertakings.

Verse 1
巽，小亨，利有攸往
xùn, xiǎo hēng, lì yǒu yōu wǎng
The Gentle. Success through what is small. It furthers one to have somewhere to go. It furthers one to see the great man.
Verse 2
初六：進退，利武人之貞
chū liù: jìn tuì, lì wǔ rén zhī zhēn
Six at the beginning: In advancing and in retreating, the perseverance of a warrior furthers.
Verse 3
九二：巽在床下，用史巫紛若
jiǔ èr: xùn zài chuáng xià, yòng shǐ wū fēn ruò
Nine in the second place: Penetration under the bed. Priests and magicians are used in great number. Good fortune. No blame.
Verse 4
九三：頻巽，吝
jiǔ sān: pín xùn, lìn
Nine in the third place: Repeated penetration. Humiliation.
Verse 5
六四：悔亡，田獲三品
liù sì: huǐ wáng, tián huò sān pǐn
Six in the fourth place: Remorse vanishes. During the hunt three kinds of game are caught.
Verse 6
九五：貞吉悔亡，無不利
jiǔ wǔ: zhēn jí huǐ wáng, wú bù lì
Nine in the fifth place: Perseverance brings good fortune. Remorse vanishes. Nothing that does not further.
Verse 7
上九：巽在床下，喪其資斧，貞凶
shàng jiǔ: xùn zài chuáng xià, sàng qí zī fǔ, zhēn xiōng
Nine at the top: Penetration under the bed. He loses his property and his ax. Perseverance brings misfortune.
