Chapter Summary

Psalm 75 is a psalm of judgment. God declares that at the appointed time He judges with equity. When the earth trembles, He holds its pillars firm. He warns the arrogant not to lift their horn high or speak with haughty necks. Judgment comes not from east or west but from God who puts down one and lifts up another. He holds a cup of foaming wine for the wicked.
