Psalm 29 celebrates God's voice in the thunderstorm. Seven times "the voice of the Lord" thunders - powerful, majestic, breaking cedars, shaking wilderness, stripping forests. All creation responds. While the storm rages, "The Lord sits as King forever." The psalm ends: "The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace."
