Chapter Summary

Psalm 13 moves from desperate lament to confident praise in just six verses. David cries "How long?" four times - how long will God forget him, hide His face, and let enemies triumph? He pleads for God to answer and give light to his eyes. Then faith breaks through: "I have trusted in Your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation."
